Entripy Ride or Die ‘09

First of all, don’t get the wrong idea with the title of this blog post. Everything we do or say is all in good fun! For the last 3 weeks, several of us have been planning an Entripy Team night out. All we said to our staff was this…

Are you all willing to…Ride or Die…Entripy Style? Friday June 26th from 5:30 pm until 2 am! Dress trendy & more info will most likely not follow!

For weeks, the staff have been guessing what this night would entail. Guesses included Canada’s Wonderland (LOL!), Niagara Falls, a BBQ at the Brar House, Roller Skating (Danny went as far as calling a roller skating place nearby to see if there was a booking…crazy!!!). A lot of planning and secrets went into this amazing night! And trust me…secrets aren’t exactly easy for me to keep. Okay I confess I am terrible at keeping secrets but I was great this time.

You must be wondering what we did that night! Okay here it goes. We had the entire Entripy Team and their spouses/significant others meet at our office at 5:30. At 6, a crazy limo bus pulled up and we loaded Carlsberg Beer, martinis, mojitos, cosmos, music and got set for a night out! Keep in mind…no one had any idea of what was going on. Our first stop was around the corner at Dirty Martini where we had shots. We literally ran out of the bus, had a shot, took some pics and ran back onto the bus. We then got on the QEW and drove downtown for dinner at Movenpik Marche. We ate great meals here and I’m not going to lie, more alcohol was consumed.

We then got back on the limo bus and drove up Yonge Street to Yonge-Dundas Square where we danced to the amazing beats of Swami, followed by the Michael Jackson. (Read the blog below about that…it was unbelievable!) The dancing and singing to MJ went on for quite some time and then we headed back to the bus where we surprised our team with something else! We pre-arranged for Swami to come party with us for the rest of the night. Some members of our team were starstruck but I won’t mention any names. I also won’t mention which staff member ran and bought a bouquet of flowers to give to the female singer in Swami. LOL!!! It was funny to say the least.

Well you’re probably wondering what else..what next? We hit up Mink Nightclub with an amazing rooftop patio and danced and drank the night away. Everyone let loose and had an unbelievably amazing night! I think the girls outdrank the guys that night!

The limo ride back to Oakville was pretty mellow and some people even crashed at Entripy. It was definitely a night to remember and one that may have just started an annual tradition. Hmmm not sure how we are going to beat this next year but I’m sure we will find a way!

Ohhh and I have to add that our limo driver was great and we gave him a custom t-shirt to wear the whole night!
