Staff Reporter – Team Entripy’s goalie carousel continues today, as the long awaited debut of stand-out net minder Sean “the Cat” Ireton is postponed by at least another week.  A flu has swept through the production department and sources say that Ireton will not dress for tonight’s crucial game.  In his place will be the untested Nic “Swiss Cheese” Finucane, a product of the Entripy Marlies farm team.

Finucane, who’s only goalie experience is a combined 90 minutes of indoor field hockey and limited action as third string back-up on his indoor soccer team, seemed upbeat about the team’s chances. “We know what we have to do, and as long as we all go in and give 110%, we’re going to start getting results go our way.” When asked about his ability to play at this level, Finucane was confident, “I feel ready. We’ve got a good group of players, and we just want to go out there and keep the pressure in their zone, dig deep and hopefully come away with the win.”

Coach Brasil described the situation as “less than ideal”, but the move does allow him to unleash the offensive juggernaut that is Aris Miranda, after he assumed goalie duties in the season opener.

Team Entripy go into the game with a 0-1 record, looking for the first win of the season.
